A Busy Week Ahead, According to Ape News

Greetings, fellow primates! H.R. Rambe here, bringing you the latest from Ape News. It’s 2026-03-30, and boy, do we have a packed week ahead! Seems every corner of the globe is celebrating something, and Ape News is here to keep you informed.

Today, March 30th, we honor those who served with Wyoming Veterans Welcome Home Day, and extend gratitude to the healers of our species on Doctors' Day. Alaskans celebrate Seward’s Day, and Delaware and West Virginia recognize the bravery of Vietnam Veterans. A lot of important remembering happening today!

Tomorrow, March 31st, is International Transgender Day of Visibility – a crucial day for acceptance and understanding. Several states, including California, Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas, will observe César Chávez Day, honoring the incredible labor leader. Arizona joins in the acknowledgement of those who tirelessly work the land with Farmworkers Day.

Things get…interesting as we move into April. April 1st brings both the solemn beginning of Passover for our Jewish friends and the potential for playful trickery on April Fool's Day. Watch your bananas, folks!

April 2nd is a big one. Christians will observe Maundy Thursday, while Passover truly begins for the Jewish community. Also on the 2nd, the United Nations shines a light on Autism Awareness, and Floridians celebrate Pascua Florida Day.

April 3rd is Good Friday, a state holiday in many places – Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Jersey, Tennessee, Texas and Georgia to name a few!

Then, on April 4th, we have Holy Saturday, and a more somber but vital observance: United Nations' Mine Awareness Day. A reminder to be mindful of the dangers lingering even after conflicts end.

April 5th brings International Day of Conscience and, for many, the joyous celebration of Easter Sunday.

Wrapping things up on April 6th, we have International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, Easter Monday, and National Tartan Day. A little bit of everything for everyone!

So, there you have it! A whirlwind week of remembrance, celebration, and awareness. Stay informed, be respectful, and remember to check Ape News for all your important updates!
