COLD WIND MIGHT BRING ICE BALLS!

Brrr, It’s Cold! And Maybe Stormy Soon!

Hi! I’m Jerome Skinly and I’m seven! Today the weather is kinda yucky. It’s not snowin’ but it’s REALLY cloudy. My mom said it’s 43 degrees in Grand Rapids, but it feels like 37! That’s super cold! Like, wear-your-hat-and-gloves cold.

It’s also REALLY wet feeling in the air. Not from rain, just… wet. My mom calls it “humidity.” It's like when you take a bath and everything is steamy.

The wind is blowin’ too! It’s comin’ from way up north and it’s kinda strong. It tried to take my hat off when I went to get the mail!

But guess what? My mom said there might be a storm tomorrow! A big one! With loud booms and maybe even hail! Hail is like ice balls! She said it’s happening in other places already, like near the Ohio place and other lakes.

She said we need to be careful. And maybe stay inside and play with my dinosaurs if it gets really bad.

Caledonia, where my grandma lives, is supposed to be almost 50 degrees. That’s warmer! But still kinda cold.

So, yeah. Cold and cloudy today, and maybe a big, loud storm tomorrow. I hope my dinosaurs are ready for an adventure inside!
