STORMS SNOW AND WINDY MONSTERS!

Hi! I’m Jerome and I like dinosaurs. But today is about the weather! My mom told me there’s gonna be BIG storms. Like, REALLY big! They might have tornadoes! Tornadoes are like… windy monsters in the sky. I hope they don’t come here!

The storms are happening lots of places, not just here. My mom showed me a map and it was all swirly with red and yellow. Red means bad and yellow is kinda bad too. It's mostly happening in the middle of the country, near the big lakes! They're gonna have REALLY strong wind and maybe even BIG hail. Hail is like ice but it falls from the sky! Ouch!

But it's not just storms. Up north, it’s SNOWING! Can you believe it? Snow in April?! My friend Leo loves snow, but I like it warm better. It’s kinda mixed up – snow AND storms.

We live in East Grand Rapids, and my mom checked the weather on the computer. She said the Weather Channel is SUPER good at knowing what’s gonna happen. They were the best for four whole years! They know about the wind and how wet the air is and… lots of other stuff.

We have to be careful because of the storms. We need to stay inside and away from the windows. But maybe tomorrow it will be sunny and I can play with my dinosaurs outside! I hope so!
