SO MANY DAYS!!!

Hi! I'm Jerome and I'm seven! This week is REALLY busy with special days. My mom helped me write about them so you don't forget!

First, on March 30th, some states said thank you to people who were in the army a long time ago. Like, really long ago. And doctors get a day too, 'cause they help us when we're sick. Alaska has a day for a man named Seward, and Delaware and West Virginia thank Vietnam vets. That’s a lot of thanking!

Then, on March 31st, there's a day to see all the transgender people! It’s important to see everyone. Also, a man named César Chávez has a special day in some states. He helped farmworkers, which are the people who grow our food. Arizona has a day for farmworkers too!

April 1st is… April Fool’s Day! You can play tricks! But be nice ones, okay? And it's also the start of Passover for Jewish people. That's a big holiday with special food.

April 2nd is a busy day too! Some Christians have something called Maundy Thursday, and Passover keeps going. Also, it's World Autism Awareness Day. And Florida has a day called Pascua Florida. Florida is weird.

April 3rd is Good Friday and some states get a day off! My mom said it's part of Easter.

Then on April 4th is Holy Saturday. And there's a day to be careful of landmines…those sound scary!

April 5th is EASTER! We get to hunt for eggs! And it's also a day for being nice to everyone and thinking about what's right. Oh! And it's National Deep Dish Pizza Day! YUM! And you should maybe play outside too.

And finally, on April 6th, there's a day for sports! And another day for Easter, but it’s called Easter Monday. And people wear special checkered pants for National Tartan Day!
