A Week of Warm Wishes and Sweet Treats
Hello, folks, Leo Parks here with a quick look at what’s happening this week! It feels like the year is just flying by, doesn’t it? And with so much going on, it’s easy to lose track of all the special days. So, let’s get right to it!
Today, October 27th, is actually a pretty busy day! We’re celebrating National Pumpkin Day – perfect timing, I think, with Halloween just around the corner. And for all the cat lovers out there, it’s also National Black Cat Day! Let's give those often-overlooked felines some extra love. There's also World Day for Audiovisual Heritage, which… well, it’s good to appreciate all the movies and recordings, I suppose. And…oh, and National Chocolate Day! That one I definitely support.
Tomorrow, October 28th, is National Cat Day – another one for the kitties! And World Stroke Day, which is…important, definitely important to be aware of that. Plus, National Candy Corn Day. Some people really love that stuff, it seems.
Then, of course, October 30th and 31st are big ones. Halloween is almost here! Get your costumes ready and your candy stocked. October 31st also happens to be Reformation Day and World Cities Day. A lot going on that day!
And we’ll roll right into November with All Saints Day and National Authors Day on November 1st, followed by All Souls’ Day on the 2nd. Oh, and Daylight Saving Time ends on the 2nd, so remember to turn your clocks back! It’ll be nice to have a little extra sleep.
It's a busy week, folks. Hopefully, you can find something to celebrate – or at least enjoy a piece of chocolate! That's all from me. Have a good one!
