A Pleasant Week Ahead in South Haven

Hello everyone, Leo Parks here, and things are certainly… happening in South Haven this week! It feels like spring is really trying to arrive, and there's a lot going on to celebrate, or just enjoy the nicer weather.

Of course, the big one everyone’s thinking about is Easter! The Victoria Resort is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt and fun activities on April 4th – sounds like a lovely way to spend the day with family. And if you're looking for a brunch option, Arvesta Lake has you covered with their Easter Egg Hunt & Brunch on April 5th. Hopefully, the weather cooperates for everyone!

But even if Easter isn’t your thing, or you’ve already celebrated, there's plenty more to do. Live music is kicking off at Black River Tavern tonight, and will be continuing through April 25th. I always think a little music is nice.

For those who like a bit of friendly competition, Trivia night at Three Blondes Brewing is on every Thursday until mid-May. I'm not much of a trivia person myself, but I hear it’s a lot of fun! And, speaking of fun, DayDreamer Domes is continuing their Free Social Sauna Sundays through April 26th. Sounds… relaxing? I might have to check that out.

If you’re planning a visit, remember that you can book a stay and receive a $25 Digital Dining Voucher through May 15th – always good to save a little money. And for anyone interested in wine, St. Julian Winery Tours are running Fridays and Saturdays through December!

There's also the Star of the Lake Music Series featuring the Scott Spears Trio on April 1st, “Spring Into Giving” on April 4th, and “We’re Going on a Beer Hunt!” on April 11th. Plus, the Center for the Arts has Adult classes on Wednesdays and the Michigan Maritime Museum has Free First Sundays on April 12th.

So, lots to choose from! I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe week, and manages to find something they enjoy. It’s nice to see so many things happening, really.
