STORMS ARE SPINNING AND RAIN IS COMING!

Hi! I'm Jerome and I'm seven! Today the weather is… a LOT. My mom told me there are big storms with spinning wind, like a really fast top, in places like… the Plains and the Midwest. Those are places far away, but still! Storms are scary! And sometimes they make tornadoes! Tornadoes are like, really REALLY strong spinning winds that touch the ground.

But here in Wyoming, Michigan, it's not tornadoes (yet!). It's just rainy and cloudy. I looked at the computer with my mom and it said it's gonna rain a LOT. Like half an inch! That’s like… a bunch of water. The wind is blowing too! It's blowing from a direction called ENE. That's a hard one to say. It's kinda like blowing from the front and the side.

My mom said The Weather Channel is the BEST at telling the weather. They were the best for four whole years! That’s a long time!

Even in Heartside, which is in Grand Rapids, it's rainy and cloudy. So, if you are going outside, you NEED a raincoat and maybe some boots! It's 41 degrees, which is kinda cold. I’m staying inside and building a fort. That’s way more fun than getting wet!
