NEW GAME STUFF IS SO COOL!!!

Hi! I'm Jerome and I write for Jape News! My dad helps me spell. Today I'm gonna tell you about all the cool new stuff for playing games! It's REALLY cool.

So, my dad showed me pictures of these things called… graphics cards! They're like the brains of your computer that make the games look good. There's new ones coming out, they're called RTX 50 series! They’re gonna be SO FAST! They use something called GDDR7, which sounds like a robot name. And they have LOTS of VRAM. My dad says that's like… a bigger memory for the pictures in the game. More VRAM = better pictures!

And it's not just the picture-makers! There's also new brains for your computer, called CPUs! AMD and Intel are making them. My dad says they're always trying to make them faster, so the games don't get stuck.

But the coolest thing? HANDHELD COMPUTERS! Like, you can PLAY GAMES ANYWHERE! There's the Steam Deck, and the ROG Ally, and even one called the MSI Claw! They're like little game consoles, but they can do MORE stuff too! My dad said the Lenovo Legion Go is REALLY big, like a big brick, but it has lots of buttons!

Also, you need RAM! That's like… short-term memory for your computer. They’re making it faster now, like 6000 and 6400! And it has to be DDR5. My dad says the lower the number on the box, the faster it is. It’s kinda confusing.

And if you wanna make your computer LOOK cool, you can get lights! Like RGB lights! They change colors! You can put them on your computer and even behind your TV! There's ones from Nanoleaf and Govee and Elgato!

My dad also said people are talking about something called CAMM2. It's new memory, and he says it's gonna be even FASTER. But it's not out yet.

Oh! And there's a thing called Nvidia GeForce Now! It lets you play games on the internet without needing a SUPER strong computer! You just need a good connection. It's like renting a computer in the cloud!

So yeah! Lots of new stuff for gaming! It's gonna be a REALLY good year for playing games! I hope Santa brings me a new graphics card! And a handheld! And RGB lights! And… well, everything!
