BIG STORMS AND COLD! I CAN BUILD A FORT!

Rainy Day Fun!

Hi! I’m Jerome Skinly and today the weather is REALLY wet! I looked at the grown-up weather places on the computer with my mom. It said in Grand Rapids, where I live, there’s gonna be BIG thunderstorms! Like, boom and flash big! And it’s gonna rain SO MUCH. One hundred percent! That means it will rain. Not maybe. It will.

The wind is blowing kinda fast too, like when you run with a cape! About eighteen miles an hour, my mom said. That’s fast! It's warm now, sixty-seven degrees, but it's gonna get colder later, all the way down to thirty-six! Brrr!

My mom said Wyoming is rainy too, and it’s sixty-one degrees there right now. Tomorrow it might only get to fifty-two! That’s almost as cold as my ice cream!

In Heartside, which is part of Grand Rapids, it’s raining right now! Then it’s gonna be those big thunderstorms later.

I hope the rain doesn’t stop all the worms from coming out to play though. I like worms! Maybe I can wear my rain boots and splash in puddles. But I gotta stay inside when the thunder comes, my mom said. That’s okay, I can build a fort! It's a good day for forts!
