SNOW AND WIND AND TORNADOES TOO!

Snow and Storms and WHOOSH!

Hi! I'm Jerome Skinly and I'm seven! Today the weather is… complicated. My mom showed me a map and it's all colors!

The man on the TV said there's snow way up north! Like, REALLY north. And ice! Brrr! That sounds cold. But down south they have thunderstorms. Really BIG ones. My mom said sometimes those have… tornadoes! That’s when the wind goes super fast and spins around. WHOOSH! That sounds scary, but my mom says we're safe here.

We live in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and it's not snowing here. It's not thundering either. It’s just… normal right now. But the weather people are REALLY good at knowing what will happen. They checked the weather a LOT, from 2021 to 2024! They said they're the BEST! They even know how fast the wind is blowing and if the air is clean.

My mom looked on something called “weather.com” and said it tells you everything. Like how wet the air is and how much sun is shining.

So, it’s snowy and stormy somewhere else, but here it's just… today! I hope the people in the storms are okay. Maybe they should build a fort! That always makes me feel better when it storms, even if it’s just rain.
