EASTER BUNNIES SPACE & COOKIES THIS WEEK!

Lotsa Stuff Happening This Week! By Jerome Skinly

Hi! I’m Jerome and I’m seven! This week is REALLY busy with lots of days to remember. My mom helped me write it down so you don’t forget!

Today is Monday, April 6th, and it's two things! First, it’s Easter Monday, which means some people are still having fun from Easter! We ate lots of chocolate bunnies yesterday. Yum! And also, it’s a day for playing sports and being peaceful! That sounds good, I like playing tag. Plus, it's for Scottish people! My friend Liam says his grandma is Scottish and she makes yummy cookies.

Tomorrow is April 7th and it’s World Health Day! That means you should eat your veggies and wash your hands. My mom makes me do that ALL the time. And… it's a sad day to remember people from Rwanda. It's important to be nice to everyone.

Then on April 9th, Passover ends! My friend Sarah said they had a special dinner. It's also a day to remember people who were prisoners, but they are free now! That’s good!

On April 10th, it's a special day for some Christians. It's called Orthodox Good Friday. Then on the 11th it’s Orthodox Holy Saturday, and the 12th is Orthodox Easter! Lots of Easter stuff this month!

April 12th is ALSO a day for space! Like rockets and astronauts! I want to be an astronaut when I grow up.

April 13th is another Easter Monday, but for different Christians. And it's someone named Thomas Jefferson’s birthday! I don’t know who that is.

Then on April 14th there’s Yom HaShoah, which is a remembering day for Jewish people. And a day about a bug disease. Yuck!

April 15th is World Art Day! I like to draw dinosaurs. It’s also TAX DAY, which my mom says is for grown-ups and it’s kinda boring. Oh! And in Hawaii they celebrate someone named Father Damien.

So yeah! That’s a LOT of days! I hope you remember them all! Bye!
