SIGNAL LOST: PLANET NEEDS REBOOT.

Static in the Atmosphere
Right. So, look. I’ve seen a lot of weather. Grew up with dial-up, remember? Back then, “weather report” meant checking if the signal was gonna drop during a raid. But even I gotta admit this is… layered.
We’re getting hit with everything today, folks. Here in Heartside, Grand Rapids – yeah, still calling it that, muscle memory from the BBS days – it’s the kind of grey that makes your CRT screen look vibrant. Rain this morning, which is fine. We all need a wash now and then. But then it shifts. Scattered thunderstorms brewing up this afternoon. Not just rain, thunderstorms. Feels like a bad modem connection, honestly – all crackle and potential for disruption.
And it’s not just us. They’re saying this whole eastern half of the country is bouncing between seasons like a poorly buffered stream. Severe weather down in the Plains and Midwest, tornado warnings… that’s the kind of static that keeps you up at night.
Meanwhile, up north they’re getting snow. Snow! In April! Like someone forgot to patch the climate and it’s running an old build. Two storms, they say, ice and everything. Honestly, it’s a mess. A beautiful, chaotic mess.
Used to be, you could kinda predict this stuff. Now? It’s like the algorithms are trying to break the system. Feels…intentional. Nah, probably just a weird atmospheric pressure system. Still, keep an eye on your local feeds, folks. And maybe back up your data. Just in case.
Grimbly31, signing off. And seriously, get off my lawn. It's flooding.
